ABOUT ME
In a nutshell.........
My name is Keith and for many years I have been fascinated with movies and what makes them work. I love nothing more than finding just what makes things work in movies, from how effects are created to how props are built and a few years ago I began making my own costumes and props, based around popular movies such as Iron Man and the Star Wars franchise. I have made hundreds of props and costumes over the years from simple things like pendants and badges to full on samurai style armour and have been heavily involved in the cosplaying community for the past few years, being invited to act as a judge at conventions and pass on my knowledge to others. I was also the first ever winner at the very successful Edinburgh Comic Con in 2015 for my full costume based upon an intellectual property from Games Workshop, and iconic Space Marine. Upon achieving my HND in Prop and Modelmaking for the Creative Industries, I have worked with both Utopia Productions and Futuristfilm Ltd in creating props for projects that will be released in the near future. I am currently working towards my BA in Prop Making at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. This has given me the chance to work on various productions for the stage, ranging from Opera to Comedy.

Theatre Props
A collection of Props I have made for a number of shows at my time at the RCS. I used various materials and a mix of knowledge to make them all, ranging from welding to moldmaking.
COSTUME AND COSPLAY
Star Wars to Game of Thrones
Costumes and Props I have made from various films and tv shows. These are all commission based and made for fans of the shows. The Costumes are made using mixed materials, ranging from EVA foam to hair extensions.
FILM AND TV
Independent Scottish Films
I have worked on two films. Flux, which is still in production and Convergence. Both have been great to work on and I look forward to working all the talented folk again that made both of these films.
SCALED MODELS AND 3D PRINTING
Scale Model and 3D Printing
A small mix of few things I have made, either by hand or by 3D printer. As 3D printing becomes part of the industry, it is important to keep up with it and have a wide range of skills, both modern and traditional.
